Welcome to Bloodlust-UK.com, the home of everything vampire since 2001. What started out back then as a couple of web pages emailed to a couple of friends has now transformed into one of the largest vampire resources in the UK, quite possibly possibly the planet.
We have literally hundreds or articles, reviews, stories, pictures, essays on the subject. We’re also a serious paying market for fiction of this kind.
I’ve gone through the lot in terms of ‘types’ and ‘layouts’ and ‘directions’ for this web site. From flat html pages with dripping blood GIFs ‘created’ in Frontpage and hosted on someone else’s site, to pain-staking (haha) hand-coded php/database driven web sites updated in every spare minute. Now there’s a mouthful.
So here we are. Wordpress. Hurrah.
Bloodlust-UK is now going to be focused on showcasing some of the very best writers of vampire fiction (competitions, interviews, excepts, signed goodies), reviewing more of the vast array of moves and books on the subject, and interviewing more of the leading authors of the genre.
With that, as I always say, comes a certain amount of hard graft when it comes to refreshing the site and it’s content. I hope I achieve that with minimum fuss.
In the meantime, the forums, galleries and most of that naff has been removed, for the time-being.
